AUHSD GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Get up-to-date information regarding graduation requirements for obtaining a high school diploma from AUHSD. Additionally, parents should get familiar with the requirements to go directly to a 4-year college or university by making sure students meet the (A - G) requirements.

Students must complete 220 credits to earn their high school diploma; including required academic classes in English, mathematics, science, social science, world language OR arts, health, computers, career ed. and physical education.

Students earn 5 credits per class with a passing grade of A, B, C or D. Obtaining an "F" will not accumulate any credits towards graduation; therefore, the class must be repeated and a passing grade must be obtained.

UC/CSU will only accept a "C" or better in any college prep class to qualify for admission.
